Remarrying in Tulum
Hi there,
New to the site and very excited. My husband and I will be visiting for the first time in September and we want to remarry on top of a Mayan temple. I have looked on a few sites about weddings but they include flowers and food and paperwork. We just want a justice of the peace to accompany us on our special day. We would appreciate any ideas from anyone. Have so many questions but I will try to look for answers before I ask. Nikki ![]() |

cool idea, but I don't think you can access the top of the temple at Tulum.......we did a vow renewal on the beach just north of Tulum in Tankah with a shaman named Daniel a few years ago.....vey cool, some of it was in Spanish, but most was in Mayan.....very spiritual and very loooooooong ceremony

Thank you so much for showing me your wedding photo!!! How beautiful. We will definitely opt for a beach ceremony if we can't do a temple. I just pictured being on top of one of those amazing structures when we exchanged vows. May I ask if it was very expensive and how you found the shaman? Thanks again. (We don't speak any Spanish so we feel a little lost as to how to communicate when we get there.)

We will be there during the first two weeks of September. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait! We are also wondering if it is better to rent a car or use the bus system. We want to travel all over to Chichen Itza and some of the inland Yucatan temples, but if the bus systems don't run fequently enough, then I guess we should drive. (Although we are a bit sketched about driving there.)
