Supporting Troops & Families
I am very sad to say that about a week and a half ago I found out my friend in Iraq had been badly wounded.
Here are some links that can help our service members and their families. http://www.fisherhouse.org/aboutUs/aboutUs.shtml http://www.returningheroeshome.org/ http://www.fallenheroesfund.org/ |

So sorry to hear about your friend, Lucky....the war is impacting so many people....as you may have heard, my son-in-law just got extended another 3 months in Afghanistan.....but at least he is safe and healthy so far...
Best wishes that your friend fully recovers...and thanks for the links to these wonderful outfits that support our troops and their families. |

Thanks for the thoughts. I hope and pray everyone will make it home to their families safely.
I am sure any prayers and positive energy would be most appreciated in Brooke as well as our other hospitals. The medical personnel did a great job of keeping my friend alive and will be there for he and his family as he starts the long road to rehab. I am most appreciative to them and the Air Force for getting him home. |
