Enron: Smartest Guys in the Room

Just saw this film. Anyone else seen the film or read the book? Fascinating. Truly amazing. Great documentary about the rise and fall of this corporation. Takes a close look at some of the key players as well as (to a certain extent) the forces that motivated and shaped them.

Some of the scenes regarding the floor traders and some of the excerpts from their conversations are downright chilling.

Add this to your netflix or Blockbuster list. Good film about a shameful chapter in American corporate history.

(By the way, my law firm uses a HP LaserJet 5si MX that was purchased out of the Enron bankruptcy. It still has the "Enron Corp." bar code an inventory number on it!)

I remember Daniel Johnston! I was at UT from '84 to '89 working on my undergrad and MBA.
