Kid's Clubs at Iberostar or other PDC AI resorts
Could someone please tell me something about the Kid's Clubs at either the Iberostar Tucan/Quetzal or the Iberostar Paraiso? We have a 4 year-old daughter and we'd like to make a good choice in hotels, so that she can enjoy the company of other children and we can also have time alone. We are having trouble choosing between the Paraiso and the Quetzal, so if anyone could let us know more about the Kid's Clubs we would appreciate it.
Any other reviews of other resorts Kid's Clubs would also be appreciated ... heard good things about Gala. We will be travelling in early June. Thanks! ![]() |

Kristen,
The kids club at either are great. I have been to Paraiso 2x with my daughter and to the Tucan once. My daughter is now 10 and had a blast when she was there. The Star Friends Team will take good care of her and they do all sorts of activities from swimming to painting to keep the kids busy. The Star Friends Team are a bunch of performers that not only put on the nighlty shows, but are also responsible for the day to day activities for adults and kids. You will see their faces many times a day at either resort as they work crazy hours with one day off a week. |

Iberostar Tucan
I just returned from the Iberostar Tucan April 26. I have two boys - 9 and 10 years old. It was the best family vacation we've ever had. The Tucan is a great place for families. The Star Friends are the happiest, hardest-working people I've ever met. There are activities for all ages from 9:30 in the AM until the evening. My kids did not participate in the "all-day camp" but they played some of the games. The games are well-organized and lead by a Star Friend. There are kids everywhere and it feels very safe. If I had a walkie-talkie, I would have let my kids wander off by themselves. There is also a kids participation show every night at 8:15. There are also enough food choices to please any picky eater. They even had a hot dog cart by the pool one day. Ice cream cones are served all day at the beach bar. The animals are also great - we have video of the monkeys on our balcony one night. We are definitely going back next year. Enjoy!
