Cheap Eats
My 22 year old daughter and friends are going to Playa in Aug. and have limited funds. We like every other tourist always eat on 5th. Any close (walking distance to the Playa Palms Hotel) recommendations where they can have a fun meal? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Us too! Woo hoo!
1st timers here too! July 5th - 9th, staying at El Dorado Royale but coming to town for a day or two. Can't hardly stand the wait!
This site has been a life saver as far as learning about Playa and knowing "almost" exactly where we wanna go and what we wanna do before we get there!

HC Monterrey, La Pesca, Pizza Pazza, almost all pizza joints on 5th are cheap and good and the kids should like them.
Something else to consider, lots of places have pretty big portions, so maybe share a meal! VW Taco bus on 10th street. |

Manne's Biergarten....
huge portions and you could definitely share.
Macaroni's beside Manne's. One third of the price for their Italian dishes. You chose the pasta, sauce, etc. Pizza Pizzaz definitely. The carts by the bus station early in the morning and the fruit ladies. Lots of fruit to share. |
