Hello from Boston
Hello from Boston, MA. We (my husband, 7-yr-old son and I) had our first vacation to Mexico last month and stayed at Playa Del Carmen from April 19 to 22. The sunshine, the weather (what a contrast to the snow and sleet we had in Boston at that time of the year), the beach, the water, the Maya ruin, the shops and the people... everything is unforgettable. On our last day at Playa we went snorkeling with Captain Victor Castro, a really nice man. After discovering that I am not much of a swimmer, Victor snorkeled with me and pointed out several creatures that I would have possibly missed, such as the baby turtle swimming in front of me and the beautiful angelfish hiding in the reefs. If you see Victor, please say hello to him for me.

I came across playa.info AFTER I came back from Playa. How I wish I could have found this website before my trip. Anyway, I will definitely go back again. Thank you for setting up this website to share our love of Playa.

Welcome! There is a pretty active group of peeps who get together periodically in the Boston area. You'll want to meet up with them when you get a chance -- great folks!

The "Peep Stuff" threads are for arranging get-togethers, etc., both in Playa and elsewhere.
The Boston-area folks just had a meet in New Bedford, MA area.
There is also an upcoming one, in Boston, around June 16.

I am in Andover, 20 miles north of Boston. Saturday is kid's activity day, sorry may not be able to make it. Hope you guys have fun!

Hey there! And welcome, neighbor! My husband, Charlie, (Commando, who welcomed you above) and I live close by in Chelmsford! Hope to meet you someday at an upcoming Peep Meet! We don't know if we can make it to the June one yet, but, trust me, the New England Peeps know how to have fun!

will be in PDC June 9th
I am going with my wife and 2 small children, ages 21/2 & 8 months.Anything we can do with them to keep them busy such as tours or activities... Thx Steve from Boston
