That is funny, because I was thinking the opposite. Normally, Thanksgiving is the only day I get pangs of homesickness. Today, I was kind of feeling like I would like to be in the US for the Super Bowl (preferably in Detroit

My ex-wife is from near Pittsburgh, and I was having a hankering for some perogies and kraut. I think I will give them a call just before the game to wish them luck, although I don't really care who wins (I like both teams, and think this is going to be a hell of a game.) I am blessed that my ex and I are still friends. Can't beat that dynamic.
