Prepare to believe

Wow! It has finally happened. On Monday, May 28th the Creation Museum opened it's doors. Located just outside of the greater Cincinnatti area on Interstate 75, this museum will attract hundreds of thousands of people each year. Finally we have a museum that presents the biblical story of how the world was created just as described in the book of Genesis.
It is my hope that Christians and non-Christians alike will take the time to understand the biblical perspective of the creation of the earth. We've heard the non-Christian views for hundreds of years now. Take a little while to understand exactly how the earth and everything on the earth was created by God in just 7 days. It's not something you learn overnight, but if you are patient, it will open you mind to many more possibilities than you could have ever imagined. The media has covered the grand opening extensively. Please see the comments and clips below.
ABC News Good Morning America showed this clip - ABC News

The New York Times had this to say - http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/24/ar...70&oref=slogin

CNN's Anderson Cooper had this to say - The Creation Museum (Answers in Genesis)

Proverbs 30: 5-6 says this....."Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, of he will rebuke you and prove you a liar."

Have a great day Peeps! See you in Playa on June 16th!!!

Come on woodman, you know we don't debate around here. We're all experts.

Sorry man. There is just far too much evidence that completely dispells the whole creation-in-a-week myth. It just didn't happen that way.

In the museum, they show dinosaurs interacting with man. The lengths that clearly religious people will go to to defend their doctrine is amazing. And sad.

Everyone has the right to their beliefs, but this is a HUGE blackeye for the Christian religion. It's a desperate grasping at changing history that is known to be true. There's too much solid scientific evidence to the contrary.

I know that you are firm in your belief in the Bible, which was created by men with an agenda. But to take it literally is falacy. All of the above is my opinion naturally.

Shouldn't it be closed on Sundays?

Another theme park is planned to be built in Florida. It's based on Harry Potter.

I respect your opinion but honestly the only "sad" thing is when people immediately write off creation as some far fetched idea. This is NOT made up by man. If you remotely believe in the bible then you have to believe Moses's writings right? Moses literally heard from and talked to God. Just remember this, all things are possible with God. Just because scientist (who reject the belief of God in the first place) say it isn't possible, doesn't prove anything. Find out for yourself.

The Bible and Harry Potter, both very good books of fiction.

One a bit more thought provoking and one a bit of mindless entertainment. I'll let you decide which one is which.

Nah, digging ditches, raking leaves, partying on 5th...... maybe. But not going to a museum to learn more about God.

Not all scientists are atheists.

You're exactly right. Some of them are even creation believing Christians and even took part in building the museum. Thank you for correcting me.

Not all atheists are scientists either.

Now for a spooky thought: perhaps Saint George actually killed a T-Rex.

I'm a scientist and I don't reject the idea of God. I don't believe in the Bible - it's a man made creation with a specific political purpose - to control people - no more no less.

And sorry, just because you believe strongly in very suspect stories isn't remotely close to controled scientific evaluation of hard eveidence.
