In Front of the 4,5&6th grades
My wife was at our dentist today in a town about 50 miles from here (been our dentist forever and willing to drive an hour for him). While talking to my wife at the end of the visit someone came in and told this news. Today was the annual egg drop contest for the 4,5&6 grades in town. A teacher had all of the eggs and was in a cherry picker with a bucket and a person to run it. At full hight the bucket broke off and killed both of them in front of the 4,5&6th grades. Our dentist looked at this person and said" I just had lunch with him at rotary, wow". Crazy world we live in. Sometime it is "One moment your there and the next you aren't".

How sad.It is so true....we can all bicker and moan about Gore and what religon we believe in (or dont) - but none of that really matters in the big scheme of things. Give your loved ones (kittys included) a big hug tonight !!! |

We have a great friend who at age 25 just ready to get married and become a firefighter his life long dream.,become a man who now will never work again because he had a stroke. He is now 35 married with 2 children but will never work again in his life. ThankGod the firefighers are helping him and his family or I don't know what they would do. He has a heart of gold and is an amazing young man.

That is tragic.......
10 years ago my then 6 year old niece was diagnosed with bone cancer. She went thru chemo, radiation, the whole horrible ordeal.....it was a very rare form for someone her age . She has been cancer free since.... I learned a HUGE lesson that yes, life IS too short and you never know what could happen...live life to the fullest.....![]() |
