An honest question about the "F" word..

I know I've started and paricipated in some religious threads, but by no means am I a prude. I do want to ask you guys this though. When you hear another adult, lets say over 25, using the F bomb in public, does it make you cringe? It does me. I try my best not to swear much as it is, especially in public, but to hear other adults losely throwing around the F bomb really drives me crazy.

Depends on the company. It doesn't make me cringe, but I'm tolerant of most language.

If you have kids and you hear it... I cringe. I really think its an under 25 word or a city bar word.

If you say it around kids you need help in my opinion.

Sometimes in just talking..it slips out. If it's excessive then it's trashy. Depends on the situation and astmosphere. BUT, to conciously type it or even use intials is downright tacky. I would have to be really ticked off to type it.

I really don't give a rat's arse. Words is words to me. Obviously they (derrogatory words) are just used by simpletons who cannot think of more descriptive ways of saying something... like me. I swear all the freakin' time. I need to watch it, though. Elsa picks up on everything now.

I try not to swear in public. It's not too clever and, FFS, there's kids around.

Got to agree, Rita... but I will use "effin" out loud and even typed. I rarely drop the bomb and that's mostly when I'm driving.
