Home Sick

Hi all,

I feel better than I did yesterday, for right now anyway, but it was a hell of a night, up every hour or so.

It is cloudy and dark and is probably going to rain, hopefully a good amount. Later on, assuming I still feel pretty well, I'll putter around the house some straightening up and the like, but for now I am heading back to the couch to watch some telly and rest.

Hope ya'll are feeling better than you did yesterday also.

What are you favorite activities when you are home sick?

The slice of toast and glass of milk an hour ago went pretty well. I think I'm going to go wild and cook an egg or two

A big pot of home made soup and a movie is perfect for when you are sick. Stay in your pj's and curl up on the couch. This weather we are having just makes that even more true.
Hope you feel better soon!
Gonna be around next month? We still owe you a dinner and drinks!

I'm an equal oppurtunity nudist. I have to question this part...
If I am home alone... you can forget this. If I'm cold, blanket fine, but not a stitch of clothes. I have to wear them too much in life already.

Glad to hear you are feeling better Roni. I like soup and my bed. I'll normally come down for the soup and go straight back to bed. I also like really cold apple juice. Don't know why. I don't drink apple juice any other time.

I myself like to sleep with nothing on and it is not uncommon to see me walking to the laundry room and/or kitchen in the mornings naked...but if I am sick there is just something comforting in wearing a big ol' sweatshirt and pajama pants.

Eggs did fine. So did a cup of coffee. The offending organisms seem to have left my body. I suspect that eggs I cooked yesterday morning weren't done at a temperature that killed everything that should have been dead, as the intestinal miseries started announcing their presence late morning. Last night was absolute heck, but today is going pretty well.

glad to hear that... nothing better than systems working as they should... i'm surprised you actually wanted eggs if they were the offending food...
