Hi there!

My husband and I are kicking around our first AI - Mexico - PDC. We're looking in to the Iberostar Grand. We've done a few vacations to Aruba since we've been married. I've been to Mexico (Cancun - 11 years ago) and he never has.
We're looking for something really simple and laid back. Good food, on the beach, great room, etc. Someone directed me to this forum earlier this morning (I've spent a lot of time on TripAdvisor.com) and I'm sure I'll find a lot of great information here.
Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself.
Have a great day!
Lori

Just had a post by Shammy, our AI guru, on the IB* Grand.
She's there now.

Hi Lori,

Welcome ! I spend some time on TA too but I have found this board to be a much better source of accurate information of all things Playa.

Do take the time to read the stickeys on the forums as they will save you the time of posting questions that been answered many times.

The search function here is great too, I just wish the people on TA would learn how to use one!

Shammy is my Travel Agent and has been a huge help in planning my trips.

Planning a trip is so much fun, enjoy!

Sharon

Sorry, I should have explained.

When you click on a forum the topics at the very top are marked as stickys, that means they cannot be moved down the page and dissapear if they are inactive, ie they stick at the top of the page.

They have important information on them about the forum you are on and often answer just the questions you need answered.

Hope this helped.
