I don't blame Rock for being as p*ssed as he was; the punishment had nothing to do with future kitchen skills of a master chef ... and I guess it cut close the bone, making him think of bag people collecting cans in the ghetto. I like that both he and Julia are still in the competition. I don't see Julia winning the whole thing -- but I really, really hope that Ramsay hires her as a trainee in one of his kitchens; there really is a lot she has to learn, but at least she shows the capacity to learn. Hard to tell who the final two will be: I tend to think Jan will bump Bonnie, but Bonnie has turned out some nice-looking, and apparently tasty, stuff. I think it will be Rock for the guys, unless he has some sort of meltdown that he directs at Ramsay. At least it's nice to see that a lot of them are more capable of creating good-looking dishes than I would have thought they were capable of a couple of weeks ago. I think the two guys will keep Josh around for longer than he deserves. I'm afraid Julia might be the one to go next week. |

I had to get the synopsis from one of my employees this morning. The cable guy didn't come to our new house until this morning and I had Brian moving the tv around with an antenna from room to room last night trying to tune it in
. We didn't see the first season but got hooked on the show last season. |

It's funny how Julia was the only one who knew how to please a bunch of high school kids. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out...goat cheese for teens?? I think NOT!

I think Ramsay did a class thing with Julia. I loved her to death, but she absolutely was not ready to run a high-end restaurant. If the producers are smart they will do a reality show based on Julia's culinary studies. I'd watch! |

I used to be hooked on that show, but got tired of all the screaming. I am now obsessed with Top Chef on Bravo.
I have never worked in a kitchen, but compared to Top Chef it seems like Hell's Kitchen is made up more of cooks than chefs, no? I like how in Top Chef they have a couple of hours to come up with creative, top of the line dishes...love that! It gets boring to watch Hell's Kitchen chefs try to cook the same dishes over and over and over again. |

I love Top Chef, it is my favorite! The only new shows I've been watching this summer are that, Hells Kitchen and the Next Foodnetwork Star(which just ended). I guess I love any show having to do with food cuz I watch ALOT of the food network too.
