Anybody like Jimmy Buffet?
I just bought tickets to his concert! It's the Bahama Breeze Tour 2007. Going in July..it's in East Troy Wisconsin (very near Milwaukee). Anybody else out there going??

I'm going to his concert in Indianapolis!
My husband just suprised me last week with tickets!!! I am so excited. I have always wanted to see him in concert. July 24th is the concert date.

I love Jimmy Buffet! I listen to his CD's when I'm driving. I'll have to check and see if he'll be in the Twin Cities.

I don't think he's coming to Minnesota.... That's why I bought tickets to the show in Wisconsin. Roadtrip!!

I saw him in Atlanta last month. Is this your first Buffett show? If so, get there early for the tailgating and do your best to remember the show...

Oh my gosh! The 1st Jimmy Buffet concert I went to was in Atlanta!!! The best time ever!! We got there early and went thru the parking lot parties. It was soooo much fun...maybe even better than the concert!

Sounds like you saw him at the Lakewood venue in Atlanta right? This year he was at Phillips Arena downtown. It wasn't nearly as much fun tailgating because there are no really big lots. But we made the best of it and still sat outside 4 hours before the show and drank some LandShark Lagers and margarita's!

The really bad thing about the Atlanta show this year was that it was on a WEDNESDAY! Not good........ work the next day sucked!

It was in 2003 I think. We drove up from Panama City, FL (we were there from MN visiting a friend) I can't remember the name of the venue but it was like an ampitheatre with lawn seating. A person MUST dress up in beach attire or you will actually feel left out!

Seen JB about half dozen times or so - GREAT time. He coming to Indy / Verizion Wireless Music Center for the last time this year !!! And guess who's NOT got tickets... I'm trying some other sources to get tickets - I'm hopin' & prayin'
VWMC has been sold. The value of all that land has gone through the roof - SO no more concert venue!!! Soon to become more housing developments.
There's nothing like being in the lawn for a Buffett concert. We took our two teenage boys last year - their second Buffett concert. They fell asleep at the first and got an eye-full at the second!

Attended a few Buffet shows here in the birthplace of the Parrothead.

Always lawn tickets at beautiful Riverbend on the Ohio.

Incredible costumes etc...

I've been to Jimmy Buffet several times -- but not able to make it when he comes my way at the end of this month.

I don't know if I've ever determined what is more fun.... the concert itself or the tailgating that goes on before hand

Yep that was Lakewood Amphitheatre. Very cool place to see that type of show. The lawn area is great for hanging out with a big group, especially for his shows when you're not really on the edge or your seat waiting to hear his newest stuff.

Don't jump off any walls at the show. I did a month ago and shattered my heel into 6 pieces and broke my ankle in 3 places. This was about the 3rd song into his set.

I DID stay for the rest of the show though, with ice on my leg. Caught a cart out of the arena and went straight to the ER.
