Missing Link

Hi,

I created a thread a couple of days ago looking for possible leads on condos and it seems to have disappeared. Was it deleted? I saw the warning about not posting ads for one's own properties but I thought it might be OK to post inquiries from the other (customer) side since I had seen similar threads in the past. I contacted Heather last year to see what kind of listings Playainfo.com might have for stays of month or so and she said the weekly rates would generally apply there so it might be wise to check other places if I was looking for a montly break on price. I figured the answer would be the same this year so I didn't want to bother her again.

Anyway, sorry if I crossed the line with my thread, just trying to find out if that was the case or maybe it was accidentally deleted.

Yep, it appears to be gone. Just a thought, but I know that there was at least one person in the thread that listed her own Condo, and at least one or two others who had a link for a competitor's website. None of those are listed on Playa.Info, therefore they are not allowed. That may have been the problem. I believe you can ask, and I, or anyone else who has their property listed on this site can respond.

Also, as I mentioned before, some of the properties listed on this site, do give breaks for longer term rentals.

Ahh.. that could be the distinction. Maybe it's OK for owners to respond in private but not to post links on the thread to their properties since it's in a sense providing free advertising to a competitor. Makes sense.
