Problems loading Playa.Info

Am I the only one having problems tonight? I have problems loading Playa.Info tonight. One minute the site won't answer, two minutes later it is okay. Some of my posts do not appear as I get the answer that Playa.Info takes too long to answer... two minutes later it is okay again. Is it just me?

I experienced the same a couple of times over the last two weeks or so.
Not the last couple of days, though.

I had it in the mornings most days and sent James a PM to let him know. But usually in the evenings it was okay. Today it is annoying though, otherwise I wouldn't have mentioned it...

I am getting great response here and have generally not been having so many occurrences of the "slowdown", or timeouts to the site, as I used to....I suspect, based upon the fact that some are okay and others are not, that this is some slowdown on the net on the way back to the playa.info server rather than anything to do with playa.info itself.....this time....

Jacko, this is why i ask... strangely the Playa.Info site is the only one I am having problems with. I don't have an explanation for it (and I am not really a computer dummy). That's why I asked. Generally it is okay in the evenings but tonight I've had the 'no response'-thing about 20 times which is unusual...

I hate it... I don't really feel special just because I seem to be the only one who has problems... *argh* Happens again tonight.

I am not really a computer idiot but I don't have the slightest clue what the problem might be...

You are not alone, it happens to me late at night frequently too, and also Erica (Luv2Dance). Seems like the later it is, the more frequent the problem.

Yes, I have had occasional probelms with this as well.

Just thought it was on my end. Possiblity.

it's a server-intense time of day (early am). That's when it does backups and runs other chore type scripts.

I'm having serious Playa.Info connection issues now (22:34 here, 15:34 Playa.Info?).

No problem getting on to other websites. Fo figure...?!

guess i blew up something while searching

edit: i also overloaded browser cache. must b on my end too.

Connection keeps timing out...

Cleaned a load of stuff up.
Tried IE. Tried Firefox.
Still sucks.

James: the only thing that I noticed which has recently changed on Playa.Info is the addition of the Rana webcam. I'm having these connection issues since.
It might be totally impossible that one has to do with the other, but I just thought I'd mention it.

haven´t had timeout probs here.
¿did you try loading without avatars or pix?
