Thanks for the posts - you folks are cool. I'm gonna look into that San Marcos thing - looks like a boozingly good time. I live close to the Hula Hut (seems like the closest thing to playa, but so not true). Going back August 4 - REALLY CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
Does anyone know if they finished those condos out by Mamitas? Oh, and is the Super Walmart really that much better or does it suck like all the others?

I was just there in may and I didn't see any condos behind Mamitas or Kool that looked livable....but I wasn't really looking.

I'll stick with Mega

The Regatta could very well be the most fun weekend you'd have all summer. Great group of people, lots of tequila, excellent bbq, lots of tequila, toobin', tequila.....you get the idea.
