not too many recent posts on Playa Del Secreto (at least from what I've seen on the searches I've done
), so sorry for answering your post with more questions! I'm wondering what you thought of the beaches there. I know I saw some recent pics-from this site (?) I think that the beaches in that area that people once raved about are no longer looking too great. We've been thinking about renting one of the homes down there and none of the websites show any recent beach pics (I can only guess as to why!)

The beach itself is still very nice, the water is pretty rough and some parts are pretty rocky. We found a spot were it is all sand. If you want peace and quite this is the place. It's only20 mins from PDC and 5 from Puerto Morales. We had a great time and can't wait to go back. Some of the larger houses didn't seem to have much beach at all but just a short walk south and it is still very beautiful..If you PM me with your email address i'll send you a couple of pics we took in May.

Took a day trip up to Playa Secreto. The beach in front of the main group of villas is gone. Water crashes into the sea walls. Rocky, but very beautiful and plenty of beach to lay on.
