Hi,
I'm moving to playa with my 13 year old son....and am interested on meeting people who have children my sons age. I also hear El Colegio Ingles is a good school. Can anyone give me some feedback on that? I am also looking for a basketball club or team for my son. Can anyone help me with that? i sure would appreciate the help. Tahnks in advance...

Welcome Milva,

Where would you move from?

We have an almost-14 years old boy, and an almost-13 years old girl.

I can't tell about El Colegio Ingles. My children attend the Yits'atil school. BTW, they have a basketball class after school.

Maybe we all could meet some day.

Best regards,
Luis

Hola...

Luis,
thanks for your reply.....I'm moving from belgium, I am mexican though but i have lived outside of mexico for the most part of my life. I havent heard of the school your children go to, is there a website on it? if not ,could you give me phone number? and is it an english speaking school?.....it's good to hear tey have basketball, do you know if my son could join the team, even if he did not go to school there?...I know I must sound lost but any questions that you could answer would be a great help. Where are you and your family from?....I would love to meet nice people who have children my sons age, and I hope to make some nice friendships with this new experiance of moving to mexico.
Take care,
Saludos

Milva,

The school's website is Colegio Yits'atil.

It's a bilingual (English-Spanish) school.

The after-school basketball is not open to the general public, however I'm sure other schools may have a basketball club, or there are lessons/teams at the Deportiva Mario Villanueva (sports complex).

Saludos,
Luis

There is a tennis coach on the aforementioned sports complex. I don't remember the exact price but I'm sure it's not that expensive.
