No idea (not surprisingly).

But you could try the 'Bleu' salon on 10th Avenue just North of Avenida Constituyentes. They're one of the more professional places.

I have no idea what that is, although I do get manicures and pedicures regularly. My guess is whatever that is hasn't reached Playa yet.

Is it a French manicure?

There is a place I walked by on 5th that did Acrylics....Also off 5th on the way to Royal PDC they do gels & Acrylics...

Take a nail file just in case!

I think the pink & whites are just as strong as the regular acrylics so they should be ok, just don't do any mannual labor!

I do pink & whites in the summer and painted in the winter...all acrylics So you should be just fine. If you break one, more than likely it's going hurt like a mother and you'll have to bandaid it for the duration. I usually take extra polish for the tootsies since the sand is harsh on them. Have a safe trip!!!

That is called an American Manicure. I think the French Manicure one is clear with white tips, but any spa that does nails should be able to do that for you.

Pink and whites that I get have white acrylic on the tips then a pink acrylic on top. I do have a habit of breaking acrylics on occasion. These actually feel a little sturdier though

I am cracking up right now!! My husband complains that I break my nails on every vacation we are on, but I never do at home (it is true)....I have spent hours looking for a nail place in Las Vegas (not hard there), Cancun, South Beach/Miami (expensive), Key West, Grand Cayman...
I appreciate your foresight Blondyinnh!!!

If all else fails, ask at the front desk of your hotel where you can find a salon to have your nail(s) repaired.

Resort have manicure places. i don't know if the Ai's would let someone just go to the Salon or Nail shop if you werent actually staying at the hotel. I just get my nails done 24HRS before I leave and hope that they stay strong. I had a paint color change in Playa and it was $20.00 USA . i pay $7.00 for color change in USA. Expensive there. On a similar topic, is there a tanning salon with a spray tan service in Playa? I tend to burn so I like to spray it on like the Mystic Tan. The lotions from stores make me streaky. Do this too before leaving on vacation so I have a base tan for the beach.
