New at this board and i love reading all your info.
We are leaving for Playa on Tuseday and i just checked the weather for this week and is shows rain everyday! Are they passing rainstorms that cool off the temps or what?! Also, any idea what the sea more or less temp. is? Thanks

it's our new site-wide policy. Babs and I have been following this (secretly) for about a week now. we will no longer instruct a guest to use the search function. if we bother to respond, we'll do it with a link to an answer, or some other positive reply. we will no longer remind people that they have asked a question that has been specifically listed as a question not to be asked. we will simply move on to other posts. we will not impede the efforts of those that do answer these same questions. our new approach will be silent astonishment instead of admonition.

This is the first message board I have ever seen where that kind of patience and consideration is in effect. It is a good policy. You may want to consider a sticky thread with a weather discussion and even a list of often asked questions with links to the appropriate threads.

Gee, just when I was feeling fiesty. Though I haven't seen any threads dealing with the specific weather conditions at Playacar Palace.

Sorry Vlakvark...feeling quite fiesty. It will all be good. Most of the rain events are just as you guessed, quickly passing things. Have a great trip!
