best rooms at the gala ???

can anyone give me a heads up as to the location/room i should request. travellling with a 5 yr old and would like to be close to beach and pool but cannot find a hotel layout anywhere. thanks!

We stayed at the Gala in March. We lucked out with room 1246. It's right off the pool and a short walk to the beach. The location makes is convenient and accessible.

Any 1200-1300 rooms are good. Depending on the floor you want. At Easter we had 1330 and it was right off the pool and had beach and sea view. Whatever you do don't get a suite, they are way too far from the action.

I disagree about the suite rooms. The Hacienda Jr. suites are the only rooms we will stay in. Yes they are 2-5 mintues from the resort, but very peaceful and relaxing. Definitely more quiet at night.
