IB Tucan/Feb 2008

Already looking forward to getting back to the Tucan this coming Feb. I know, its really early, but SO LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING BACK!!!! Anyone else planning to go in Feb. 2008??? Last time we were there was in Feb. 2004 or o5, can't remember, its been so long!!!.

We are also going in Feb. Prices look a litle high yet.

Do you think that the prices will go down any? I have a feeling they won't.
will you be staying at the Tucan as well??? If so maybe we will see you in the bar!!

I have been in Feb. it is an expensive time to go. There are very few deals, to be found. The resort also gets booked so it can be hard to get a room if you wait to long. Just keep watching....best of luck!

I am going there for a wedding in November. Grooms mom is a travel agent and got us nine nights for $1400 all inclusive. I pay more than that for a week at the Viva Maya. I hope this marriage lasts.

Can't remember when we booked for Feb the last time, do you think we should do it soon??? Or can we wait till Aug or so????? The price seems to have gone up a bit since the last time we were there, about $400 more for 2.

We always go in Feb. I know the price is higher but, that's what works for us. Plus I'm always there for my birthday. As of right now we are looking at booking the Barcelo for 3 nights (just to try it) and 4 nights at Iberostar Q ( because we know we love it there).

Planning on going end of January or early Feb. Haven't decided for sure which resort yet but IB* Q/T is at the top of the list. Probably won't book untill Aug./Sept.

Been looking around the Barcelo Trop/Col and checking prices. Maybe we will try the Barcelo for the week. I really don't want to pack up half way through and move.

Hi all,
I am looking to book Easter weekend, that's the end of March. The Iberostar website does not go that far in advance. How or with whom can you book that early? What are the going rates? We're thinking about 5 or 6 nights.

We stayed at the IB Tucan last April for 7 nights starting the day before Easter. We did an Apple package from Milwaukee. It cost us about $4,300.00 including taxes, insurance, etc. Not easy to get "a deal" that time of year. We always book through a travel agent. I would try and find one familiar with the area. He/she should be able to help you out. We just booked an Apple non stop flight only for next April so you should be able to book a package now I would think. Good luck.

As of right now. We can get the Barcelo for 250.00 cheaper than we can the Iberostar Q for the same week. Don't get me wrong. We l;ove the Iberostar but, this Barcelo looks really nice and it's a little further south which I have been looking for.

We had originally planned to go to PDC Feb 2007(for Valentines and my husbands birthday), prices were to high. So we ended up going and staying at The Royal PDC April 19-26th, 2007. Prices alot better in April. The weather was great the whole time. Also stayed there April 2006 for a week and weather great then too. We used to always go in November until Hurricane Wilma messed things up and we ended up at San Jose del Cabo, which was very nice, but we missed PDC. Nov 2000, Nov 2004 the weather was great. Also prices not to bad about two weeks before Thanksgiving.
