We have a push mower, as our lawn's size doesnt justify a rider. It's old and has a huge hole in the bag. The throttle is broken though so it takes two people to start!

we mow acres and acres and acres and acres
we don't own a push mower
it would take me 4 days with a push mower
although, I'd have a nice slim body

It'll be interesting to see what we end upw ith when we buy our house. I suppose it'll be somewhere between what you have and what I have. Probably closer to what I have!

Do you plant crops or have livestock?

We're on an every other time thing. We alternate. However, with the drought we're having, I haven't had to mow since she did it. We just plucked a few (literally) weeds and that was it!

You need a riding one then! Our yard is about 1/3 acre. Some of it is swamp and rock but most it grass. I'm thinking about tearing some out and planting more flowers! John just loves to do that! He digs the holes and I plant what I want where I want!

My kids knew I was anal about how the yard was mowed...so they would mow in squiggly lines until I came out and took over! I'm such a push over!

My dad and I used to have a huge (but I don't think that big) garden growing up living in NC. We used to do rows and rows of basil to make our own pesto...we also did tomatoes and various squashes and peas. This is something SUsan and i'll probably start up when we get our house
