drove through two separate downpours on our way home from Krispy Kreme... went to pick up a gift card for my son in law who graduates from the police academy tomorrow... ha! (it's from my mom to put in the card she's giving him--she doesn't have a KK in Oklahoma City, she said)...

I once drove 5 hours through an unrelenting downpour...not cool. That's a pretty funny idea for a police academy grad gift! I have considered on several occasions quitting my job and joining the academy here, but have never had the guts to pull the string (on several different levels). It was funny, when I went to boston for college, there was no KK up there, all they had was Dunkin...they were missing out.

Hey! She's great, althought she's had a bit of an upset stomach today, so that hasn't been fun.

We went house hunting last night, and saw one that was great! I'll try to post pics of it in the next few days. It really was awesome! In a good area, perfect size, spectacular kitchen, nice hardwoods, etc. The only issue is that it's listing for about $30,000 more than our target price, and i'm unsure at this point as to how motivated the seller is and if they would be willing to come down that much. We're probably going to go looking again next wednesday
