Trip Report - Finally
OK here goes....
Day one, we got up... (just kidding) Actually we didn’t arrive until 10:30 that night and from that point on we were living on Mexico time. After hooking up with some college kids and meeting Robin and Bonnie, (a really great and funny couple from Canada) we were christened with "El Jimidor". To say the least, we then became beach addicts by day and night owls every night. First of all, we must say we met some of the nicest people... Dougie & Linda, Andy, Anna & Peter, Ann & Al, Robin & Bonnie, and last but not least James & Anna. Between James & Anna and Andy & Anna, they directed us to some great out of the way places for some of the finest food & drink we could ever hope for. The Tequila Barrel was a blast! (Mohitos, cervezas & Mescal.(James had a headache the next day!)....woo hoo) Thanks guys! Our Resort (The Reef Club) was very nice. Very relaxing and comfortable. Nice atmosphere. Good food & drinks there as well. The beach was top notch. However, when we go back we want to stay downtown because of all the other places our new friends turned us on to. We did take the ferry over to Cozumel one evening. It was kind of touristy, but we found a very nice little restaurant called the Lobster Cove and had a wonderful sunset dinner. Another highlight was the Fat Cat trip. It was a perfect day for it and everyone seemed to enjoy it. One bit of advice... if you go snorkeling with an underwater camera... make sure you point it in the right direction!!! We have some very funny pictures of my (Robert) snorkeled face! Bottom line, we had an unforgettable trip. The scenery was beautiful, the people were great, the food and drinks fantastic! We took our time, relaxed & enjoyed every moment. Salud! 8) Robert & Deb |

I was wondering where you were. That trip report was the P.G. version folks. Rob and Debbie were crowned the party animals of our group. That night drinking the Mescal with James and Co. James did not know who he was messing with. Thanks for the good times.
