Holy Hurricane Batman !!!

storms last nite just west of Austin dumped 17 inches or rain in less than 6 hours!!!!.....roadways gone, San gabriel River is over the HWY 183 river bridge, boulders and trees washed onto the roads........with 4 flood gates open on Lake Travis, they say it will still rise 12 inches per hour this morning....if this rain moves a little further East, the Colorado floodplain will be an ocean tomorrow......could be very bad here, hopefully loss of life is minimal

oh crap! That's not a great situation.

We had a 13"er a couple of years ago, dams upstream started collapsing - the damage was incredible.

This being NJ, of course someone had to file a suit

Be safe.

Jeez ... I live in Boston and, hating snow, love to complain about the weather. But I have never experienced anything like that. WOW!

On the bright side ... your internet service is still up and we are all still here ...

I think all of the prayers and positive thoughts for lots of rain for this years Regatta (especially after last years lack of rain) was too much!

Congrats on stepping over to "the other side" Scott!
