Respect
I'm not an owner or a moderator, nor do I have any "official" status on this board at all. I'm just another user, just like you, posting my opinion and appreciation for the board and the people that run it.
There have been a couple of instances I've noticed lately of people violating the terms of service of the board and creating multiple accounts. IMHO, the best thing to do when a user starts to post under multiple accounts or makes an inappropriate response is to report it to a mod and ignore the posts. Don't respond. This is true even if you happened to have liked the offender before he went "rogue." I think we MUST respect the time and effort that James, Anna and the mods put into maintaining and developing this forum. For them to have to come in after the fact and babysit, clean up, chase multiple registrants is just utter crap. They work hard enough on this board, and we are not little kids here. They should NOT be wasting their time cleaning up after our dirty diapers. Keep in mind, if it becomes TOO much work to "babysit" and control the crowds here, they will simply shut down the forum. Simple. No more problems. Is that what we want? Bottom line for me, anyone that blatantly violates the rules of use on here (e.g. multiple user registrations) is on my sh*t list. And I think its a TERRIBLE idea to support, encourage, etc. this type of behavior in any way, shape or form. For example, a user had mentioned that a particular fake user account was originally "all in fun." And that may have been true at one point, but that user has recently used that shell identity to go off on James and other members of this board - not so much fun anymore. Also, when we "look the other way" when we know a user has multiple registrations in violation of the TOS, it can lead to additional unintended consequences. For example, we can start to doubt the reality of another, legitimate new user's existence because there have been so many false registrations floating around. Again, bottom line, when you are posting on this board, PLEASE remember to respect the work that James and Anna and the mods put in on this board. Be civil, have fun, and lets all play nice. Really. Its better that way... Peace out!

I just don't get WHY anybody would want to have multiple identities unless they were out to cause problems in the first place. It is infuriating
and mindless act and disrespectful to all members, moderators, and owners. Boot their butts out. Who needs 'em!!!!

Well said Stewie !!!
And all the name calling/veiled threats are so not cool. If some one doubts a users identity I am sure all it would take is a PM to a mod or James and they could verify the users IP address. And the report a bad post icon is really a helpful tool.

Not a doubt the above comments are on the mark and no need for me to put it in my own words.
Even though I can't stand drama, I do have $0.02 I'd like to add. Obviously there are different groups of friends that have form on this forum based on common interests, people's locations, whatever the reasons might be. I don't recommend that anyone of us form opinions of others based on what they see on posts or pictures, as that only tells part of the story. I've exchanged e-mails, PM's, pictures, etc. with the "friends" that I've made from this forum. Much as I might be party girl on the patio or deck, they've seen that I have responsibilities, a family, career, hobbies and interests, etc. I don't know who may or may not being using more than one name on this forum. I know I'm not -- and ask that we not be so judgemental of one another. There is much more to me -- and I'm sure all of you -- than what is revealed in a handful of posts or pictures on a thread. Thanks for listening to me vent, I'm done and going back to work now.
