My friend is running for Tug McGraw foundation in NYC marathon

I have been posting once in a while on these forums over the past few years. I searched and found similar earlier posts so I think this is appropriate to post here. If not, moderator - please delete.

My running partner, and one of my very best friends, Beth Brewer, will be running the NYC Marathon to raise funds for the Tug McGraw foundation. The Tug McGraw foundation raises funds for brain cancer research and awareness. Tug McGraw was Tim McGraw's father and established the foundation in 2003.

Beth is one of 27 on Team McGraw that will be running in November. Beth is running for her brother who has been battling brain cancer for the last 3 years. Running for the Tug McGraw foundation is just one of the things Beth is doing to support her brother and cancer research.

I did the easy thing and started off her donations. I also promised to be Beth's marathon training partner. That will be the hard part for me. Anyways, if you wish to support Beth's fund raising effort, please follow the link below. Thank you!
