That's cool. I saw a pair of them soaring around for about 45 minutes over the hospital one day a few years back. Everyone in the hospital was mesmerized, patients included. They were really spectacular.

Very cool, I was boating with a friend on Lake Texoma last year and saw two bald eagles fishing, they are magnificent. I've heard they taste like a cross between spotted owl and condor.

It's a daily occurance here, a bald eagle sighting. We have piles of them around.

Okay, well maybe not daily, but we do see them often.

When I was a kid there was a Bald Eagle nest in the tall tree in front of my bedroom window!

Sailing up Desolation Sound on the Sunshine Coast one morning they were flying right over the boat as we went through a passage! Magical!

Saw that last night they were coming off the list formally today.

I had one follow beside me on a parallel as I was driving I-90 from Moorcroft, WY to nearly Spearfish, SD...that's quite a haul.

They are back in a BIG way. I heard on the radio the other day that we have 60 pairs of nesting Bald Eagles in our county here and I dont believe it. I think there has to be more. We see them all the time, matter of fact we have a few right by the house. Its great news, they are beautiful to watch.

I've sat watching them very recently. There are several nests in town. Cool stuff!

We have some that nest around us and fish in our lake...very cool to watch them soar and then drop into the water and grab a fish!!! We always think it is a sign of good luck when they fly over us! Saw an osprey this weekend that kept circling overhead. Very cool!

Very cool. We saw an immature bald eagle sitting on the beach at Race Point on the Cape last year. No one knew what the big disheveled bird was, and thought it might be hurt. A guy near us caught a bluefish and as he was reeling it in the bird took flight and swooped along the shore and snatched the fish right off the guy's line and flew off. It was only when we got back to our cottage and dug out an Audobon book that we realized what it was, and learned that while they like fish they don't really like to get wet, and are notorious for stealing fish from osprey.
The next day we saw it again soaring along above the dunes. I hope we start seeing more around here.
