Still thinking on this one.... you would need to hire both of us, Stewie is the Test Pilot,

It would soon become as popular as a trip to the ruins in Tulum. Your meals during the tour would also be paid by the party hiring your service.

The earnings should be high enough to allow us to dive many many hours a day to burn all those calories away in a gentle way,

They are next to the two electric stores on the north side of Juarez, just off the carretera. I think it might be around 45th or so, but I honestly don't know the streets. The condiments are amazing. Mashed potatoes, rice, salas, cilantro con cebolla, guacamole (picante), I can't remember them all. Oh, and no forks or spoons. ENjoy!

I see I labeled the condiments in Flickr, here's a link paamul 1421 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
That looks fantastic! Please check the cross-street if you have time!!!

We just stopped there the other night so Rick could pick up something (not on my diet ). It's just east of 45th on the south side of Juarez. No name, that we could see, but it's always hoppin'!

Thank you Susie! It looks like a cool place. I'm going to try to go check it out this weekend!

it was fine...especially the vast condiment selection

i was thrown a bit by the lack of menus and my less than stellar command of the Spanish language, but i did fine.

I got my food to go, so i had little room for all of the great condiments and side dishes than jamnkats mentioned.

But i did experience great guacamole and some Hot hot hot salsas.

(the beanie weanies weren't bad either)

Got your food to go?!

Come on, Rick! That is not the best way of getting immersed in Mexican culture and practice your Spanish

Why don't you join the StewartG/Jesus Magical Mystery Taco Tour de Force?

Thumbs up

…and don’t’ miss the best Cochinita pibil tacos in town.

Filipe’s …..on 15 Ave at Calle 52.

Directions: Drive north on 10th Ave. Turn left after the big green day care building (Calle 54). Then left again (now you are on 15th heading south). Look on your left and you should see the place, but don’t look for a sign as there is none. (JLSL knows where it is, as he was probably the first to post the location). And there are no street signs when you get that far north, and so the directions are key.

After you have tried Cochinita pibil with hand made tortillas you’ll never want to go back to machine made tortillas.

well...
...this did not fit into susie's diet, and she didn't want to be tempted by the restaurant.
She waited in the car while i got my food.
I immersed myself enough to ask for my food "para llevar"

Great Place to eat

I am not going to be there to enjoy your afternoon of eating, but I found this place in January and it was GREAT. Nativo, its on the North end of Playa off the beaten tourist road. Its very native, like the name. Fresh is the only word to describe it. So check out NATIVO!! We liked it so well , we went back 3 times.

Wellll.... I wouldn't *exactly* call this place "off the beaten tourist" road. (Although I suppose everything is relative!) Its a pretty well known place and has been discussed on the forum a lot. Thank you very much for the suggestion, but I was really trying to pave some new trails here and get out of the "downtown" area.

Speaking of which... Michael - thanks for the tip on Filipe's. I'll see if we can add it to the tour. If so, I'll post review, with pics, for the peeps.

Life=learning Spanish
