Thanks! That was great, I've never paid much attention to her but she is great, and not bad to look at either
I have loved Carlos since he broke out back in the late 60's(?). One of my first (now I'm really going to age myself) 45's was Oye Como Va. Guess I was somehow predisposed to becoming a Playa.Info junkie

Thanks, had missed this collaboration.
Not to take away from Gloria Estefan, or from Carlos Santana's own music, either, but he really ought to get some type of lifetime achievement award just for spicing up other's people tunes, you know? And that's sounding a lot like the great Cuban Arturo Sandoval on trumpet, there, at the end. Gonna have to look that credit up... Well he's listed as one of the guests on the album but I find nothing specifically confirming that's him on that track. Must be him, with the strength and clarity of tone on those high notes. Nobody I know of has such good tonal control and quality on such high notes as Arturo Sandoval. ![]() Oh, India is also a guest! Woo-hoo! Steve Last edited by ryberg; 07-04-2007 at 11:06 PM. |
