Well, my dad was a lawyer and he told me that if they sign a contract that says that they cannot give any of the money to another contestant, they are bound by that contract. It has something to do with what assest he has before the game and before winning the $500,000. Apparently, they have to do a financial disclosure befoer they get on the show and then they audited or something. It all sounds very complicated but somehow CBS will know if gives anyone of the other players any of the money.
But, under the tax laws, he can gift her $10,000 tax free to her annually or he can give her more, but if he gives her more, he has to pay taxes on what he gives her. He can take money and put it in a trust for her from which she can draw an income. He can probably slip her money slowly as well. I think the main thing is that she can't all of a sudden have $250,000 (or whatever) that she didn't have before the show. |

I am personally glad Dick won.
![]() Yes he did some really awful things but he is the only one who had the guts to speak up and confront people face to face rather than just sceme behind there backs. Lets face it alot of people in this world wish they had the nerve to do what he did....and remember folks it is a game and none of us know what we would do to win that kinds of money if the opportunity ever presented itself.
