Is it possible to talk with Playa locals in these forums?

Hi All,

We (mi esposa y yo) are in playa this week and have been busily
gathering information we think is necessary for moving here. I was wondering if it is possible to use these forums for this purpose (and even if
possible, is it acceptable)? It is fairly easy to find out lots of things in person, but once we return to SoCal, it will be difficult to get further info to keep the process moving forward.

This is the only place on the net that seems to be run by folks living here, so would seem to be the best place to get straight information. I have met only one expat american while here this time, so don´t have a good feel for knowing if seeking such info is something that is encouraged or punishable

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly, I didn´t think to ask this until today, but I would be glad to buy
dinner, drinks or waht have you for anyone with a couple of hours and a
kind heart, if they would care to talk a bit.

Yep - spoke to Steve at great length as well as anyone else I could get to let me bend their ear! Learned a lot and Steve told me you were the most knowledgeable about systems there in Playa. I sent you a private message to thank you for your help. I will post questions as they arise. Is
this the right forum for these types of questions ? I guess it sorta feels like there is probably a better place but I wasn't sure even after going the the FAQ.
