Greetings from the lake once known as Texas

Hola. I have been reading this board for a while and since it doesn’t look like it will ever stop raining here it seems like a good time to jump on board. The light of my life already posts here from time to time and we both love Playa and visit her every year. This is the best Playa site on the web. IMHO

Greetings from another Texan trying to keep her head above water! (literally) Where in Texas are you from? I'm in the Dallas area and will be arriving in Playa on Monday the 9th!

We live in Pearland, just outside of Houston. We have had a lot of rain but thankfully not as much flooding like there has been in the northern parts. Have a great trip.

Thanks, we will! I'm taking my 18 year old niece for her graduation present so it should be very interesting!

Stay safe you guys! We've been watching news reports for days and it looks terrible.

And if possible, send some of that rain up to us in Wisconsin. Dry as a bone up here.

Tomorrow we should be down to 20% chance of rain. I believe all this rain for the past 45 ? days is almost over. Sure hope our yard guys show up tomorrow, our yard is a jungle. Don't believe we will be on any water restrictions this summer Our Aquifer is 28 feet above the average for this month. All the rivers and lakes have been at flood stage I believe what I heard on the news today. All the clouds have keep our highs in the mid 80's which is great for this time of year here.
