New Playa Fan in SC
Just got back from close to Playa Friday night... I had a wonderful time there & didn't want to leave! What a beautiful part of the world.... I just found out today that Chichen Itza was named one of the 7 wonders of the world!
I loved 5th Avenue in Playa... ok, a little touristy... but ate at a very good restaurant (Los Rancheros on 5th Avenue)... I can't wait until I can go back! Pam from Charleston SC |

Welcome neighbor! Glad you had a great time in Playa....I love to visit your city of Charleston....its a great city....in fact, you may soon hear from one of our most respected members, Bumper, who is visiting here in September at our upcoming peep meet (see my signature line below), and then he and his beautiful wife are going to Charleston after his visit here...
Also, regarding Chichen Itza...we have been talking a bit about that here if you want to join in the conversation. |

![]() And Jacko is right on the money, Mrs B and I will be in your town for a few days in September, around the 14th until likely the 18th. We'd welcome any suggestions for "must do's & see's". We were there for part of a day a few years ago, and were quite taken with the place. We'll probably be staying somewhere in the old "historic" part of town (at least that's what the tourist brochures call it), so if you know of a decent hotel you can recommend, we'd appreciate it. Be pleased to hook up with you for an adult beverage or two as well, if it suits your schedule. |
