''Police detectives Peter and his partner Cottontail were sitting in their office when the phone rang.
̈Hello,̈ said Peter.
"Come to 3439 Rich Street to talk to Mr. Rich, goodbye," the man said.
Ten minutes later they were at Mr. Rich's house. They examined the outside of the house but discovered nothing wrong. When they looked up, up to the top of the house, and saw a broken window, they figured that the window was the problem. Then a butler came and took them to the study.
̈Okay, Mr. Rich, tell us your story,̈ Peter said.
̈I was sitting in my bedroom watching T.V. when I heard a bang from my study. I ran in and saw my black servant breaking a window. So I fired him. But now he won't leave because he says he did nothing,̈ explained Mr. Rich.
Peter looked around the study and, other than a bit of glass on the floor, it was a great study with a nice fireplace and a picture of one of the Rich forefathers above the fireplace. Mr. Rich also had the widest selection of books from suspense to horror that Peter had ever seen.
̈Well, I guess we'll take him to jail,̈ Cottontail was saying.
̈Don't be too fast there Cottontail. Mr. Rich, you're under arrest, ̈Peter said happily.''
