Living in Cancun and need to relocate to PDC or Playacar. Help, please?

HI,

Today is my first day on line and I am hoping to get some info. My husband and I are living in Cancun and need to relocate to PDC or Playacar. Our budget for an apartment is 800usd and are having a hard time. Can anyone help?

I'd start by looking in the Andale magazine and just driving/walking around.

For a decent place: $8,000 pesos rent per month is possible East of the 307, but very probably unfurnished, 1 to 2 bedrooms, and from 25th Avenue upwards. Circa $10,000 upwards for furnished.

To spend less you'll have to cross the highway or rent something a bit grotty surrounded by barking dogs.

Oh yes very, there are a couple of barking dogs (at night) but i wouldnt swop that for the noise of traffic /nightclubs and tourists that you get in the more affluent part of town, add to that never a problem with parking and the mall 2 mins away i would say its perfect .

Here is a picture of the place from the carretera

Thank you I will check it out.
