This place is consistently great and service is always friendly and competent. They bring 3 types of salsa to the table, along with a cucumber/radish/lime plate and a plate of grilled nopales and onion (delicious!). Then we started with queso fundido con chorizo (melted, stringy white cheese topped with spicy sausage) and frijoles charros (like a bean soup with bacon, ham, peppers, onions). Then, nearly stuffed, I had one taco al pastor and bf ate 2 (marinated, gyro-style pork tacos with onion, cilantro, and a bit of pineapple). I had a big glass of agua de jamaica and he had a beer, all for the incredibly low price of 105 pesos, pre-tip.
Can't say enough good things about this place; I'm so glad they are just up the street from me.
