That's similar to what happened with JWA. There are noise monitoring stations all around the airport. I used to work for a firm that did acoustical and environmental noise testing, so we've tested airport noise a few times! It's pretty interesting.

I bet LAX was loud! I feel bad for the people that are in the flight paths for Atlanta.

I've done the railroad tracks too...let's see...that was my first apartment after I got my first job...every 15 minutes or so...it shook the place pretty good, but like you say, we got used to it.

We have the freeway thing now...but not for long. I'm not sure what the noises will be at our new place (other than Earl and Ralph) I know there are train tracks nearby, but I don't think they are all that close. We are kinda in the back of the neighborhood. the back of our property backs up to public greenspace

Good Morning all! Sorry I flaked last night. I went to give logan a bath and then got distracted by children and bed times and finally the battle Id had all day with the night o' tequila came to a head and I lost the battle But I feel A lot better today!

slowly but surely...

granite is done

backsplash walls are tiled--guy coming Friday to fix the one crooked tile

stovetop comes tomorrow, dropped in and hooked up on thursday

walls are being mudded today, painted tomorrow, glazed thursday or friday

Cabinets will have to wait until after her vacation and ours... but that should be a two day process, then we can put the hardware on...

then pictures!

I'm up now! Still in Cali! It's almost 5am here, 8am your time. Sorry I missed you! I'm coming home today! I'm going to go down and get on the elliptical machine and then go have some breakfast! Then it's off to the airport where I get to go forward in time!
