I found this bad boy on the ceiling of our bathroom in our cabana down in Punta Allen......in the middle of the night !! Needless to say, we slept w/ the bathroom light on for the rest of the night. Unfortunately it was gone by the time we woke up. Where oh where did it go...... ?? Yikes !!

Oh, and you can't tell in the pic, but it was about 6 inches long !!

Critters?

The only ones that I would run a mile from literally (I have arthritis! lol)
are spiders and little furry critters!! they are my main worries other than that I am not keen on any creepie crawlies like cockroaches yuk!!
but if they don't bother me I don't bother them

Cecropia moths. Very common all over North America. Had one in a cocoon in a jar (got it at the great Minnesota State Fair in the butterfly house) last winter, let it go in the spring - very cool experience.
