Trip planning to other parts of Mexico

Having spent two weeks on the Yucatan peninsula at the end of 2006, our next trip will be to other places.

Here are the initial thoughts. There are some neighborhoods in north Guadalajara we would like to see La Chapalita and other parts of Zaopopan specifically - also want to do a day as a tourist in Guadalajara.

There are a couple of other towns around Lake Chapala we'd like to spend a bit of time in - Jocotopec for sure, and from there spend a day looking at a couple of places on the South side of the lake.

Then there is Colima and the area around Barra de Navidad and Melaque.

We'll see what happens. Under the influence of tequila, I think Sol and I were going to start building in or around Colima

I read there's a place in Colima where the female population is like 7-1 man. Tons of women go to this little chapel kind of place and light candles. That's a good place for single guys to move to.
