let see i live in los olivos ..pop.1000..about 10 miles from solvang..any dancing would be found there but not really clubs ,,cowboy place in santa ynez but this will be a stay put party..there is ahitching post in casmaila and also buelton...nojoqui falls is still there probably very dry..summer has been 80-90s..some days even hotter.. few fires too!i have thought of trying to get a peepmeet here for winetasting etc..would be fun,,but anyone is welcome any time..i do feel very lucky to live in a beautiful area...thanks for all the suggestions!

I only mentioned the clubbing because it was mentioned earlier and unless Los Olivos, Solvang, or Santa Ynez has grown leaps and bounds since I last was there, there are no clubs. We only ever went to the Hitching Post in Casmalia. Buellton location was for tourists..phew, phew....j/k Buellton one wasn't even there when we first moved there. We only hiked to Nojoqui in spring. Not really much of a waterfall but my daughter was small and she thought it was an adventure. I loved the park though. Seemed so far out in the country to this city girl.

Yep, fiance did that for bachelor party, but minus the stripper suprisingly enough!
More like they were really just being vulgar men, belching, playing poker and pool, peeing in the corner of the yard.... and taking shots of scotch!!!
Maybe a girls night with similar elements minus the vulgarity would work???
