I only use my Verizon cell phone, no land line. I have not had a problem at all with reception, even in the house. The only time i have wished that I had a land line is if I was getting close to running out of minutes on the cell, but this is rare as most of my amigos and family have Verizon and verizon-verizon calls are "free." (as in you pay for them with your normal monthly plan, but don't have a preset # of minutes you can use)

I say go for it... it is one less bill to worry about!!
