What's going on in Dallas???
Latest news say something about exploding gas tanks in Dallas and it sounds bad... is it in the city and what's going on? You texans all okay????????

welding supply company went up in flames....steel cylinders filled with acetylene gas......wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere near that 4 sure

gas cylinder company had a fire and the tanks started to explode... they are evacuating some of the buildings in the area...

They told the fire department to stay away.....A camera man took a piece of flying metal to the head and was rushed to the hospital.....Was downtown when it blew.....There are still explosions going off.....

Wow I'm here in Houston and I'm getting breaking news from Andiline in Germany. I'm turning on the news and I'll let you know.

Michelle called and woke me up...told me to put the news on. She knew I like a good fire and fireworks show. We watched together for a while, saying, whoa!! everytime one blew up...great mushroom clouds. Reminded me of "shock and awe". I feel sorry for those that got stuck in all the traffic. It happened at one of the busiest area in town where all the interstates come together. I fell asleep again and worke up a little while ago and they are still trying to put out the fire.

It is interesting, the different media on opposite sides of the ocean.
We were in London for the Queens Golden Jubilee and there was a small fire at Buckingham Palace, just a brief mention in the London papers.
When we got home the first thing everyone asked was about that fire. Either the Brits played it down or our media totally blew it out of proportion (or both). This was before England beat Argentina so they can't use that arguement.

Andrea, Remember when I took you up in the tower? When you looked south towards the river with all the bridges...it was in that area.

Yeah, I saw pics in a local online paper from Cologne and I figured it out that it was somewhere near that area...
