researchers..... who gives them the money to waste time on such a dumb project? Gee I think I will spend lots of money researching why my friends are skinny and I'm not. They eat more than I do and sit on their butts all day.

Don and I are like that too ....'cause when we are in a 'healthy eating, working out regularly' phase, we do it together, and we when we fall off the wagon for a while, we do that together too.

When I went in for my last physical I informed my doctor (who wants me to lose some weight) that I have found an eating "style" that allows me to maintain 275lbs! I proudly exclaimed this to him and added that I havent gained a pound in a year....for some reason he wasnt impressed.

The majority of my colleagues are thin and exercise on a regular basis and the same goes for the women with whom I hangout. I feel no pressure from them to lose weight. Perhaps it is because we have different interests rather than body image issues.
Dave lost weight because his sugar level was high, so he is taking some medication and watching his food intake.

Aww, when Michael and I were in the first flush of courtship oh so many years ago now, he used to play that song for me all the time.

Now that I've spent 7 years with someone who never gains an ounce even though he can eat 14 tacos in one sitting or drink a 12pk of beer per day, it's not quite so charming.

And Susie, is this why we don't hang out? You afraid of catching obesity from me? Now I'm starting to understand why SarahB felt the need to move away from me.
