I am very happy this afternoon

we're fixin to go to Herberts Taco Hut for dinner and then we're hittin the highway and headin south thru the storms, I imagine we'll be dodgin floods all the way to Kingsville.........we're gonna be spreadin my Aunt Helen's ashes on grandma's grave tomorrow, I haven't seen grandma in about 25 years so it will be a good day

I'm feeling A Ok.. could be better but that will come as time passes..

My grand-dad turned 80 yesterday..

the extended family went and ate dinner at the hotel here.. He was so happy that he almost started to cry..
These days I value my family more and more.. If I didn't have them I don't know what I'd do

Its been sunny days here.

As of right now, no big plans for the weekend. Tomorrow night I am getting together for dinner with a few other Dallas peeps

I have a plumber under my kitchen sink. He's two hours later then he said he'd be. My daughter's stuck in traffic. Dinner's not even started. I'm thinking about opening a bottle of wine.

I have started to make a BIG effort to spend my time with my elderly family members...it does mean so much to them (time) - they would rather have your time that for you to give them "stuff" !!!
