All in the interests of research (the things I'll do for you people), I made a quick stop today at the empanada cart on 8th street between 10 and 15 (beside Plaza Pelicanos). I had both a cheese empanada and a chicken empanada. The chicken was far superior, but for 8 pesos, I had a terrific breakfast. Oh, and don't believe the lady when she tells you the salsa is only "un poco" hot.
