We're getting a Boston Terrier!

So excited! We lost our mixed-breed (shepherd/lab) dog about 3 years ago. My hubby was very attached to that dog... broke his heart when we had to put him down. He was a great dog, but shed like mad!

So recently he's been talking about getting another dog. Fine, but I really wanted a small dog and one that didn't shed as much as Henry. Anyway we researched many different breeds and the BT won out!

We went thru the Boston Terrier Club of America and found a very reputable breeder that was local. We're not getting a puppy but the dog we're getting is 8 mo. old now. His breeders want to show him and then sell him, they think he is a little too small to breed, but good to show. So as soon as he get his points and his championship, he's ours!!! His first show in in a couple of weeks, so we'll see how he does.

He's a real sweetheart, as soon as I can figure out how to post a pic, I will. Yea! figures it out, he's a bit dirty, he had been rolling in the dirt. [IMG][/IMG]

Well, somehow I managed the picture in my avatar!! But have had a really hard time getting them in a post. A few weeks ago I spent about 2 hours trying to get one stinking picture posted... then I gave up

I don't think we're gonna make it down this year... maybe but probably not I don't know why it has been so hard to get to Playa. So maybe next year... we'll see.

Oh, and tell Susie you want a dog.

My Great granparents used to have boston terriers....they were all named tootie. I guess it was easier to remember that way

My family has a Boston Terrier and she was the most personable little dog....we loved her! You'll have a great time!

Thanks! We're working on it... his breeder calls him Baron.
