jx2 and jsotherj grand-daughter

They have had the wee girl for a week now and we've hear very little. I have seen jx2 online, but I betcha he has been busy spoiling that little girl.

Tell us about you grandkids - BonnyW has met our adoptive grandson - what a wonderful, delightful, happy, laughing, running, playing two year old.

In the meantime, mebbe the thread title will attract those southern OR grandpeople.

I will give a full report on our week with Koral. But tonight I am soooooooo tired! A 2 1/2 year old for a week -I'm old

We did another round trip to Eugene and back today

So tonight I am excited about sleeping all night without having to take someone 'potty' at 2:30 am! G'night!!

Here's a few pic's from our week.
We went to the fair

Saw the animals

Went to the 'ribber'

Played in the sand

And had a wonderful week making memories with Koral. Hope to do this every summer!
Had a good long full nights sleep last night! Have a great day!!!

She's a doll. I am impressed with your stamina for a full week. I'm wore out from my granddaughter by the end of a day

I love how you said "making memories". That is so true and she's at an age that she'll never forget it. Ally, at 3 1/2 is at the "remember when we did this" stage. The girl has not forgotten anything in the last 2 years.

I am so impressed by Jeff - he took a week off and had grandpa duty all day while I was at work!!! (Well, until Wednesday afternoon when I quit my job - but that's another story!) It was so sweet when I would come home at lunch or after work and she was soooo happy to see me. One day she didn't like something I told her to do or not to do and she told me "Go to work!"

We went to the fair on Thursday - kids day cheap rides - and on Friday she wanted to go back and ride the airplane - I fibbed and told her the fair was all gone!

I love the pictures of Ally with her Vegas treats! What a cutie pie!!! Being a grandma is sooooo much better than I ever imagined!! Even though she still get's confused and calls me grandpa

Ally's comeback when she doesn't like something is "well, you're not invited to my birthday"! (that's not 'til January). I just comeback with "fine, I guess I don't have to buy you a present"

Good for Jeff for being a great grandpa. They're little bundles of energy at that age. I don't know if Kev could do it all day without me here. And yes, grandchildren are so much more enjoyable then I ever thought.

(My son quit his job on friday. Something in the air maybe?)
